Bark & Mulch

After an exhaustive search, TLS have obtained access to a wide, quality range of mulches that will enhance your landscape.

What mulch should you use?
This comes down to a personal selection (what you like the look of, and the aestetics of your garden), but on the ‘technical’ side the finer the mulch the less water will evaporate as there are less air pockets for it to be drawn from.
The same applies for weed control.

How much do you need?
General applications require a depth of 100mm to minimise loss of water and weed infestation. i.e. 1m3 for 10m2 in coverage, however, our trained staff can help you with calculating your particular requirements.

Fines: Lovely fine material that is chocolate-brown in colour and resembles soil thus enhancing the foliage of your plants.
25mm: This is a blend of 25mm strips mixed with fines, giving us the best of both worlds. The fines component breaks down into the soil leaving the 25mm strips as our base layer bark.
50mm: 50mm wide strips that are great for sloping gardens as they hold together. This is also ideal for commercial applications.
